How did Migoi start?

Migoi began after a discussion between some friends about the lack of outlets for the talented DJs that we knew coupled with the idea of "wouldn't it be nice to have a DJ mix of quality music turn up every quarter without me having to lift a finger". We’ve had a Bedouin tent for a while now and decided to it would also be good to have a real aspect to Migoi hence the Migoi Music Tent.

What is Migoi?

Migoi is a subscription to receive a DJ mix from the featured DJ, every quarter. You can also buy any of the previous CD’s or downloadable mixes online. Aside from this, we're a ‘complete party in a tent’ for festivals and events – read more on the ABOUT page.

Why should I subscribe?

You'll get the latest Migoi release as soon as it's released. You'll be supporting a new project trying to bring underground music to a wider audience. You may discover music that you love that otherwise you wouldn't have heard.

How long do I have to subscribe for?

You can cancel at any time.

Can I order by telephone or fax?

No - all orders must be placed via the secure shopping cart or when you subsribe.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Delta, Switch, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo, Eurocard, JCB and UK issued Visa Electron. We do not currently accept cheques, money orders, bank transfers or the following cards: American Express, Diners Club.

I am having problems using the website - what should I do?

The main reasons why customers may encounter problems using the shopping cart are that (a) customers are ordering from within a firewalled company network, or (b) ordering from a non-standard PC/Mac unit (eg a games console). In both these cases, the shopping cart may not function properly, so we recommend using a normal stand-alone PC/Mac where possible. Another possible source of problems is that the security settings on your web browser are set at maximum, which prevents your computer communicating with our server properly. If using Internet Explorer, adjust the security level slider to a medium setting. For other browsers, "Java", "JavaScript" and "Cookies" should all be enabled in the browser options. If you're still having problems, please contact us at info@migoi-music.com, and we'll try to get it resolved.

Is ordering from Migoi-music’s web site secure?

Yes - the shopping cart area of the site is encrypted to ensure the security of all orders. You can view Migoi-music’s security certificate by clicking on the padlock icon in your web browser, while in the shopping cart.

When will my card be charged (online orders)

Your card will be charged and confirmed when you confirm your order, you will receive notification of confirmation.

When will my card be charged (subscribers)

Your card will be charged on the 1st of Jan, Apr, Jul and Oct, you will receive notification of confirmation.

What if my CDs are lost in the post?

In the case of UK orders, 10 calendar days must elapse after the despatch date before we consider the package to be missing; in the case of non-UK orders, one month must pass. After this time, please contact us via email report the missing order. Before a replacement package can be sent, we will require you to contact your local postal delivery office to check that the item is not awaiting collection (In the UK, details of your local delivery office can be obtained from Royal Mail Customer Services on 08457 740740).

What if my CD is damaged, or won't play?

Send it back to us (our postal address is on the About page), stating clearly who you are, and what the problem is, and we'll send you a new one.

How can I cancel my subscription?

If you are subscribed, there will be a link to cancel your subscription on the members page.

What sort of music are the DJ mixes?

All sorts really: reggae, Latino, house, breaks, techno, dubstep, soul, funk, hip-hop, broken beats to name but a few…. If you’re expecting gabba, prog rock, jazz metal played on the spoons or flotation tank wind chime whispers from ‘the other side’, then I’d probably go elsewhere but if you like festivals, parties and good times (yeah) then what are you waiting for?

I don’t live in the UK, can I still subscribe?

Yes of course, as this is for downloads it makes no odds where you come from... which is nice

I’m a DJ, can I be a featured DJ one month?

I've not heard of any of the DJs, doesn't that mean they're rubbish?

On the contrary, we choose very carefully the DJs that are featured on the quarterly mix, whatever genre they play you will enjoy the music, we are sure.div>

I like music, is it good?

Is what good, music in general, or the music you like?
